Kye’s designs are known for their witty interpretation of street art via textiles and prints and bold use of color and proportions. Her designs are sought after by the biggest names in the K-pop industry and are frequently seen on G-Dragon and members of 2NE1––all of whom are style icons in their own right.
Kye showed her collection on February 12 at New York Fashion Week and the industry and celebrities alike are gushing over it. The collection featured oversized sweaters, candy colored furs, and slot machine inspired embellishments. The garments themselves were whimsical while still being wearable, and the world has taken notice. Rihanna, tastemaker and trendsetter, has already been spotted in one of Kye’s colorful furs.
